Flowers: Compact pyramidal trusses of 11-16 funnel-shaped flowers, 55 x 90mm; tube pale mauve, lobes darker, with dark rose madder, to nearly black markings inside

May be slightly scented

Foliage: Elepidote. Leaves are glossy dark green, oblong-elliptic, up to 165 x 65mm

Other Information: The Register records R. ‘Arthur Bedford’ as scented but there is some disagreement about whether it is scented or not. Commercially available
